The camels are indeed everywhere - and sometimes they end up dead in the desert. Our riding days were long in the Sudanese desert - three days at close to 150km each. My bike computer showed the temperature on the road at 42 degrees each day by 12:30 pm. After that the temperature just keep going up! I saw dead animals all along the road. This is winter in Sudan - I can't imagine how anything survives a summer in the desert.Wednesday, February 3, 2010
Dead Camel Desert Camp
