The last time trial was 20km UP the Blue Nile Gorge. Up, up and up some more. I have never, ever climbed for that long. 2:04 hours non-stop. I came second in the time trial in the women's category - 7th overall. Here's what I looked like after the climb. On this day I found beer at the end instead of coke. Much more satisfying! 8 more days in Ethiopia and then we tackle the ruts and bumps in Northern Kenya!
